Internationally-known Larry Moore’s artistic talents began as a young child and quickly developed over the years into a successful award-winning career as an illustrator and painter. Among his many accomplishments, Moore has had over 40 of his illustrations selected as posters for The Orlando Opera Company, as well as being honored by the Society of Illustrators with their prestigious Gold Award. The Pastel Society of Tampa Bay
is proud to sponsor the third annual
Possibilities in Pastel
Art Exhibition

Possibilities in Pastel honors Brooke Allison who has educated both artists and our local community about the beauty and permanence of pastel as a serious art medium. For many years she has taught a Possibilities in Pastel class at the Dunedin Fine Art Center.

We would like to thank all our award contributors for their contributions to our third annual show.

The Pastel Society of Tampa Bay formed in the fall of 2006 to bring local pastelists together to encourage artistic growth through education and sharing and to promote interest and enjoyment of pastel for both artists and the community.

Each year, the Pastel Society of Tampa Bay holds at least three general meetings that include business information, art technique presentations or demonstrations, and an opportunity for pastelists to meet and network. In addition, we also host an annual juried pastel show for both members and non-members to exhibit their work as a group. Other activities and workshops to promote development of pastel artists vary from year to year.

Membership in The Pastel Society of Tampa Bay is open to all pastel artists.
Yearly dues are $25.00 with dues payable each September. Dues submitted after September will be $35.00.
