The Pastel Society of Tampa Bay has 51 members. Its purpose is to understand and appreciate pastel painting, create opportunities to show pastel work, and promote camaraderie among artists.

The 14th juried competition of the International Association of Pastel Societies will be hosted on the IAPS

Pastel Society of Tampa Bay is a member of the IASP.

The 2009 Web Show
The 14th juried competition of the International Association of Pastel Societies will be hosted on the IAPS
web site, www.pastelinternational.com. Prizes will be awarded: First Place, $1,000 merchandise certificate
from Jack Richeson & Co.; Second Place: $500 merchandise certificate from Jack Richeson & Co.; Third,
Fourth, Fifth Place and Honorable Mentions to be determined.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to any artist who is a member of an IAPS Society. Proof of membership will be
required. If your entry is under the name of any society that is not a member of IAPS, your entry will be
returned to you less a $25.00 handling fee. Please check the list of members at the end of this prospectus.
If your society is not listed, check with them before entering. A list of member societies is posted on the
IAPS web site along with contact information for the societies.

Deliver Art to Tarpon Springs Cultural Center 9-11. (Please be on time for we must hand that day)We have room for up to 75 pieces. You may bring 2 or 3 pieces. All must be properly framed. REMINDER: The center does not allow ANY nude paintings to be hung.

April 3 Friday
Opening Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 7-9 Pm

Bussiness meeting end of the year pot luck.Arrive at 6:00 pm with a dish of your choice. We will have fun, eat and meet.Place Annene Hulstein's home, 3070 Oak Creek Drive, Clearwater Phone 772-7851.
